SHU @ Louisville, SHU up 1 Louisville ball hits a layup with 22 secs to take 1 point lead. SHU with 10 seconds left has a 3 foot shot for the win and misses, gets the O board and misses again, misses a third time finally Louisville rebounds and gets fouled with 3 secs left, makes both to go up 3. SHU inbounds and launches an off balance 3 pointer to tie, but gets fouled with 0.7 secs left. Makes the first FT, makes the second, and then bricks the third, Seton Hall loses 71-70

They don’t want to lose the revenue from the home game during the pandemic.

So they make more money traveling to Louisville for a game?
No, but they want the game next year at the ROCK. A RU sellout at the ROCK makes Seton Hall around $850K. They want to skip this year and pick it up next year with a home game. RU wants to play this year anywhere Seton Hall wants, and back to the RAC next year with fans.

Don't play SHU ever again.. or threaten them with that possibility.

But will SHU-guy Hobbs do that? Maybe we need Hobbs to recuse himself from negotiating with SHU

Here is a compromise. We play them this year at Yankee Stadium and next year in Piscataway. Everyone will love that.
Yankee Stadium? Why? Do you think deBalsio will allow fans in for that? Schedule it 2 weeks out so we can all do the 14 day quarantine inside Yankee Stadium.

With that logic we should have opted out of playing them during the eddie years because we stunk.
