OT - Mets game apparel

So my wife is thinking of going to the Dodgers vs Mets series. I have a Mets jersey and an old Brooklyn Dodgers hat. Is it wrong to wear a Mets jersey and Brooklyn hat? I think an LA hat would be wrong but Brooklyn does not have the dodgers any longer and part of the Mets uniform comes from the Dodgers.

I don't think it's wrong to combine the Brooklyn and Mets gear. Shows you have an appreciation and respect for the history of the game.
