I never had any youngins of my own so I have been waiting for my nephew's daughter to carry on the family athletic tradition. And she has.. Last night the home news reported that she led her high school team in points and rebounds in a victory. Yes it's on the Net as well but as a print reader from way back it was a treat to see .Maybe a few random tears formed as well. Great kid Honors classes beautiful funny ,the kind of girl I hated in high school. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I am so proud of her.If it never happens again she has punched her 15 minutes of fame card.When my mom died in '95 my brother and I were cleaning out her apartment when I found a small shrine of my childhood athletic exploits.. Trophies medals old yellowed accounts of me in that same home news that used to have a real sports section..Those same tears happened then as well.For those of you who have had moms and dads follow them or your own kids who you have followed it is a blessing not to be taken for granted. It is family. It is a piece of all of us....
