Looking forward to the byu Colorado game. However not sure if sanders and hinter will play. Had a nice winning streak betting on byu this season so hope there is some value there. I would think if sanders and hunter play Colorado will be favored.

Deion said no one is opting out but who knows. We’ll see.

I'm watching this one, right now.

And the WVU QB just ran for a 56 yard score.

I just don't understand how you have a 10-win Memphis team playing against a 6-win WVU. Odd pairing.
It shouldn’t seem odd because Rutgers lived it. The AAC bowl tie-ins are pathetic and their teams all go to much worse bowls than lesser teams from the P4.

Technically, there were two Bowl games on Saturday. In the Cricket Celebration Bowl, Jackson State defeated South Carolina State 28-7.

The Celebration Bowl is an anomaly. It is an officially sanctioned NCAA bowl game. However, it involves FCS teams - the MEAC champion and the SWAC champion. These two conferences have agreed to forgo the FCS playoffs, in favor of this Bowl game. They are two of only three FCS conferences who skip the playoffs, the Ivy League being the third.

Ironically, a MEAC or SWAC runner-up can be selected to the FCS playoffs as an at-large, even though their champions cannot. South Carolina State did last year.

Memphis defeats WVU 42-37. G5 over P4, although hardly an upset.
that's not a good showing for Memphis by any stretch. they are 10-2 and believe ranked #25 and struggled to beat WVU less than a TD

we would curb stomp WVU by the way

Why did that Memphis defender not sit down immediately after intercepting the ball? Every year it seems like Memphis has a ton of talent but ends up being one of the dumbest, most undisciplined teams in FBS.

Was at the Memphis/WVU game last night. Entertaining game but it really did highlight while non-playoff bowls are on life support. Not sure how it looked on TV but an already small stadium was half empty.
WVU did seem to have a solid presence at the bars/restaurants before the game though.

Got some nice Scooters swag too. Ha.

Just the opposite.
It’s great TV & relatively cheap programming.
I thought the weird decision was starting two sorta Eastern teams at 9:00.
It was entertaining but not enough to stay up until midnight.

You must bet a lot of money on these mediocre bowl games to be so interested in them (except for RU).
:)
Haha, I don’t gamble (except in the stock market 😉😂). I’ve watched bits and pieces of a few here and will continue to do so between the CFP games.

OU fumbles it around the 25 on their territory on the next possession.

Had an open WR on the next play in the endzone but missed it.

Couldn’t capitalize, missed FG

College football sucks again.
Why? I'm enjoying watching Navy bust the Sooners' balls.
No NIL (unless you consider their 5 year salary as an officer NIL? 😂), probably no 4 or 5 star athletes taking it to a blue blood. Maybe Rutgers should run the triple option? 😉
