Guess nobody is into MACtion.

Buffalo lost to Central Michigan.
Western Michigan lost to NIU- inept faked field goal below.
EMU won last night, so the directional Michigans went 2-1.

Didn't see the CMU/Buffalo game but saw some highlights on twitter and looks like Bert Emmanuel's son had some big runs at QB for CMU.....75 and 87 yd TD runs. Looks like a big dude too. 293yds rushing for him...goodness lol.

ECU up 1 in the 4th against Cincy. Cincy inside the 10. 25-24 ECU…could be a fun finish. Under 10 min left

Cincy gets a FG 27-25 Cincy

Oh wow ECU converts a 4th and 12 just a as their qb was going down for a sack. Right at the sticks. Converted a 4th and 2 the play earlier that was called back for holding. Driving for a game winning FGA around midfield about 2 min left.

Can’t convert a 4th and 7 and under 2 min left. Just 1 timeout. That’s probably it now for ECU.

LSU/Arkansas, UCF/Tulane, KSU/Baylor, TCU/Texas, PSU/Maryland, Oregon/Washington, Ole Miss/Alabama could be some potentially fun games today.

Can Missouri hang with Tenn?

Iowa-Wisky is always physical

Go Rebels, beat Bama!
Somehow missed the Ole Miss/Alabama game, that's a good one too. Alabama has been somewhat more vulnerable on the road. Ole Miss has been a strong running team this year but I think Alabama has been more vulnerable to the pass this year. There have been times in the past 2 years though where they can be pushed around.

Hotty Toddy!

Biggest game in Oxford in many years

Interesting stat on Alabama on CGD. In the last 17 SEC games against against Alabama, 10 games were either a loss or a single digit win. Before that you'd have to go 54 games to get 10 games like that. SEC catching up? Alabama slipping back? I've thought they've shown some small chinks in the last couple years.

Georgia is now getting a few big time players that Bama used to always get

That's the thing now, people are wondering if Georgia is the "new Alabama"

I wouldn't underestimate Saban though, but it does foreshadow what could happen to them once he retires.

Not a lot of must see games this week. TCU Texas excites me but that is about it.

That's a big one, Texas 7 point fave at home IIRC even though they're ranked quite a bit below TCU.

I kind of think Texas will win but I'll be rooting for TCU.

Arkansas with their 2nd TO off LSU. This one looks like it's inside the 10. Ark up 3-0.

Credit to LSU defense, they hold them out on 4th and goal and give up no points on that TO.

Surprising early score. Let's see if UConn can keep it up. I didn't think they had a shot at Liberty.

Not sure what Arkansas and LSU are thinking in their decisions to go for it on 4th down and 3+ Yards around the 5.

Arkansas failed early while playing their diminutive backup QB who is having trouble passing. LSU gets bailed out right before half with a couple guys jumping early for a penalty forcing them to kick a FG to put them up 6-3. Shame Jefferson is out for Arkansas in this one.

Yea I didn’t get why Arkansas went for that 4th down early. What an unrealized golden opportunity…inside the 10 and no points.

Nice TD pass to Jones for Purdue. Just beyond the outstretched hands of the Illinois player and for a TD.

14-14

I’m with him. Pittman channeling his inner Joey McGuire. TT’s HC for those that don’t know and imo goes for it way too often on 4th down.

Oh well too bad, looks like Liberty has woke up.

LSU converts the failed 4th down to a TD. 13-3 LSU

Mizzou in a game with Tenn down 28-24 about 1/2 way through the 3rd

And as soon a I type that Tenn gets a huge wide open play off a wheel route to Hyatt..TD 35-24 Tenn

Purdue goes up 21-14. 90yds 12 plays

Ark closes to a FG down…13-10 LSU

Illinois ties it up 21-21.

Harold Perkins was a good spy in the Alabama game and has been doing a good job today again for LSU

LSU wins 13-10…Perkins’s is a monster as a true freshman

WVU kicks a FG as time expires to win 23-20. First win over OU in Morgantown. Neal Brown needed that.

Purdue up 28-21 on Illinois

UConn beats Liberty 36-33, good for them. I didn’t expect that. Sounds like they’re still not guaranteed a bowl though.

Purdue gets a crucial INT off a deflection. 3:37 left up 28-21

Kiffin going for it 4th as he often does…on 4th and 2 inside the 15. He was stopped. It’s like some of these coaches are allergic to FGs. Plenty of game left, get some points.

Purdue up 31-21 less than a min left.

Oh goodness Chase Brown hurt in a lot of pain on the sideline. Would be a lousy situation if he’s hurt in a game that’s just about over anyway. Hopefully nothing serious.

Purdue will win 31-24

Ole Miss capitalizes this time despite a penalty again I the redzone. TD Judkins.
7-0 Ole Miss

Ole Miss inside the 10 again and 3rd time inside the redzone.

Ole Miss FG 10-0
