Here’s the problem with Barkley, he has a penchant for loosing yards, multiple times a game even on his good days.
He’s a very soft runner at the point of contact, the opposite of punishing.
You can have his big play every now and again…
Giants complete disorganized sideline is a full indictment on the head coach.
Plagued by motion and neutral zone infractions in crunch time
I think you're right on Saquon. He needs space to get started. When he has that, he's probably the most dangerous runner in the game. But the Jints' running plays are slow developing and their line is pathetic. My guess is that after this year they trade him for a third round pick and then he goes on to an HOF career with somebody else.

The penalties against the Giants scream of poor coaching. Clean house!

Kind of like Saquon, I think Jones is really a pretty good football player. Probably will trade him, too!

People were praising Judge towards the end of last season saying how the players loved him and his team was organized. This season they seem to be going backwards. Even their defense was supposed to be the strong point of the team seems worse then the offense now. Not sure what is going on. Did Judge and Patrick Graham forget how to coach? Did the players lose respect for them? As for Barkley he has been overrated since his rookie year. Obviously injuries played a part but like Zap said he is soft at point of contact, the opposite of what Brandon Jacobs was and what Zeke is. He cant run out the clock. He is not worth a second contract IMO

He’s got a natural instinct to jump to the outside, he got away with it in college, you can’t in the NFL.
Results are multiple TFL’s

Barkley having a good time at penn state game tonight !
Yea I saw that, seems he doesn't take losing too personally. Hell of a competitor we've got there. Relive your glory days now Saquan, cause you won't be making any more of them.

I got no problem with it after a win . But not the best look when team is losing and he’s playing like trash.

2 days after the loss and he's still supposed to be in deep depression. And I don't t think he missed much practice time being in State College on a Saturday night.

You guys act like he played and sucked all last year rather than losing it to an ACL.

After a win he could hang out in Vegas for all I care. After a loss like that sh*t show to a back up quarterback no way do you go on College Gameday laughing and joking smiles galore like nothing just happened.

Just not a good look.

Last time I checked he didn't play defense. And it didn't just happen.

Nothing mandates that the giants must be good. Right now it looks like a bad franchise from owner all the way down to coaching. Very little makes sense on the roster. You giants fans have had arguably the best franchise to root for since 1986 when it comes to super bowls spaced out over years. Yes the pats have won the most but the giants won in the 80s, 90s, 2000s and just into 2010. Maybe you are fans of the worst franchise for a decade until it gets its act together.

The saquon bashing is warranted. You don’t draft a running back that high and make him the focal point of an offense anymore in this nfl. Especially one who is a home run or nothing running back. I wouldn’t want him on my team. You look at that draft and gettleman got it very wrong and the giants are still going to pay for it

Thanks for your concern.

Giants guard Shane Lemieux has knee surgery, out indefinitely

We all knew he wouldnt last with it being partially torn. With 2 starting O lineman gone him and Gates from a bad O line to begin with that is obviously not good. They also had 2 guys retire in camp. The only positive is Thomas has played OK so far this year. Gettleman has not fixed the line and that was him main goal when he got here. Hated the Toney pick this year. Would of rather addressed the line. They spent a lot of money on D last offseason and its been horrible. Seems like nothing is working out for the Giants

I think it's fare to say you wouldn't draft him #2oa, but not wanting him on your team? That doesn't make sense.

I think the Jets might get jealous at not being the hottest mess in NY! 😱

Any team with a solid OL would kill to have him. Where did Dallas draft Elliot, #6? But you don't pick him #2 with a deficient OL. The only thing worse is drafting a deep threat WR when the QB drops back and it's "a thousand one, a thou..POW!!!

I don't know - he was rookie of the year - had 91 receptions along with rushing yards. He has a 4.7 rushing average over all seasons. He struggles with pass blocking sometimes but he hasn't been a bad player. Titans aren't suffering featuring Henry - and he's behind a better OL than Saquon ever had.

Saquon's problem could be that he's one of those over-muscled weight room guys that gets hurt a lot. Carl Banks was concerned about that before the draft.

If Giants didn't take Saquon they would have taken Darnold who was available at that spot. I would have been ok with that but its not like Darnold was a better player to date. Darnold needed experience. Saquon needs to stay healthy

The OL was bad but Saquon was also 13 best receiver in NFL when Eli couldn't get enough protection to throw downfield. He was #2 in rushing. A lot of NYG draftees have been busts but Saquon isn't one of them (yet). Still waiting for Evan Engram to show-up

He also runs in a frenetic style that I think puts him in vulnerable positions.

Joe Judge punting from the ATL 39 on 4th & 3. This team is bad and now the injury bug is hitting (Shepherd, Slayton, and Martinez all out).

But but...he made them run sprints in training camp. He's a great coach......

I feel like I'm watching a slug fest to see who gets the higher Top 5 pick in next years draft. Both these teams suck. If I see Saquan do one more spin move and fall down for 1 yd. I'm going to turn this game off.

And there it is the Giants are 0-3 and looking forward to the draft.

CHI looking pretty bad too.

I‘d love to clean house and give someone who actually has a clue 2 picks in the top 10.

Seriously, why would you wait to fire Judge?
I’m with ya; I think it’s becoming evident the team is undisciplined on his watch and guys aren’t inspired.

But you know he won’t be fired after 3 games in year 2. Just not something the Giants will ever do. If we have to fire him at the end of the season (which appears to be a strong possibility), that will be two consecutive head coaches who only last 2 years. Bad look and an indictment of the front office. I think this thing rots at the head with the Mara & Tisch families. Our version of the Wilpons.

All Giants needed to do was to get at least one yard on the 2nd down late in the 4t qtr. I thought you run straight ahead when you have less than 2 yards for a first down at the end of the game. Instead they lost a yard and a penalty and eventual loss.

They lost like Rutgers, bad offensive calls and execution when it mattered.
