Next year's schedule is horrendous;The Mets and Phillies don't play each other after Aug.21st.
The problem is that an interleague game must be scheduled on all days in which all 30 teams are playing.Still,there has to be a way for divisional rivals to play home and home in Sept-Oct.

Don’t need practice hitting. Can they practice looking for ball 4 instead of swinging and missing taking yourself out of innings?
How about they hire Nolan Ryan to throw batting practice, and he gives each batter who swings at 3-0 the Robin Ventura treatment?
Or hire Bartolo Colon to show them how to run full speed to first base
What have you won in 21 years, and that was against your so called JV, so maybe you should try shutting up anytime the Yankees go on a mini winning streak. Notice, you single handedly have posted more in the Mets thread than all the Mets fans combined have in The Dead Zone? The New Core 4 prediction { multiple champs in 5 years, so far 0-4} was made by one of the 3 Originals, Proud, T2KPLUS, and Kbee. At this point can we even guess who the Core 4 were? Judge, Sanchez, Andujar and Torres? Would any of you have the nads to admit it was your prediction? Turns out they were as a "group" nothing to "brag" about. Go back to The Dead Zone. The Mets still have a decent shot at the post season, after all, this is a Mets thread

I don't know when I've seen a team make so much soft contact. Dribblers in front of the plate or super slow grounders to 2nd or short. That's when they make contact at all.

I don’t get the Met games to watch, always blacked out. So, I can only follow live updates online or sometimes put it on the radio. Did they say why he was chirping at the Marlin’s bench after the HR?
And as much as I have always been a put your head down and round the bases kind of guy, this team does need character. I am hoping Lindor does come back and this fires him up.
Can't remember us ever having a middle infielder with the power that Baez brings. One thing though if he is around beyond this season he might have us in as many brawls that we haven't seen since the days of those brawling mid 80's, Mets led by Strawberry and Ray Knight.
