Escobar and JD 💩
228 2 games out of 70 isn’t a good season
Walk off vs Philly and the cycle
Escobar seems to miss every fastball they throw him. Either fouls them off or swings thru them and then is set up to go fishing on slow stuff in the dirt. And J.D. just gets blown away by fastballs. And this dude aint no ace. He has a 4.99 era.

Familia sucks
2 2 run HR 7-0 bottom 8

No harm no foul tonight
Move on and get one tomorrow

One more edit before bed

You thought Escobar could get himself going after that HR
NOPE. Just an embarrassing at bat , balls bouncing foot inside and foot in front of him

Well, now how do I do that when you've already copy and pasted my post?
There you go. Gone and you should do so yourself.

Now for Mets talk the back end of the pen needs help. Going to be our main focus at the deadline I believe. Hopefully Hunter can pitch well and May comes back and does the same.

Nido. Not bagging on him, but has he always been poor at throwing out runners at second? Last week was terrible. Mazeika threw a perfect bullet yesterday, but he is terrible at the plate. McCann should be back in the lineup soon, but not terribly excited about that either.
You don't steal on the catcher. That falls on the pitcher.

The answer to your question is NO. Nido had a 57% success rate last year in throwing out base stealers. 12 out of 21. That is off the freaking charts.

This year he is at 8%. 2 out of 24. Go figure.

Yikes 4-0 no outs.
Maybe I’ll take a good luck nap and the Mets can rally while I’m dreaming of Jake and Max.

Choose 1

a. The unluckiest team in 50 years when it comes to pitching injuries

b. They are training a different/wrong way, maybe minor , but how is EVERY pitcher hurt

Nothing is more aggravating in a game like this than knowing that your only chance now lies in holding the line and giving your offense a chance to chip away. But instead going right back out and giving back the run that your team just shaved off the lead.
