I don’t know if Mets fans are the most loyal or dumbest fans, but they will never stop wearing their stuff. The day after they lost the 2000 World Series I couldn’t believe how many fans were wearing jerseys/hats in the city. Either they didn’t know they lost or they didn’t care.

Been a season ticket holder (and alumni) for over 30 years. No one will ever confuse me of being a bandwagon fan. That being said, even I know when to give it a rest.
