Well the Core 4 won 5 rings, so that will be hard to match. But Judge, Torres, Andujar, and so many others are going to be around for a long time. Yes, some will fade away (probably Bird), but even more are ready to come up. I really think the Yanks need to have financial discipline and not blow too much money on big-name, high cost starters. That's not baseball any more.

First your so called EPIC FAIL rule had a major flaw. You were comparing it to 2017 rosters. When you started you EF mantra did you take into account that the Red Sox would win 108 games?? No. Did you take into account that Houston pitching would get even better. No. And the Yankees aren't playing the lowly Indians in this round.
