Lol, great response, I can't argue with that. One of the reasons I despise Yankee fans,so spoiled with ownership that tries to win, unlike the Coupons.
As I like to humbly point out to Mets fans, the difference in ownership can be summed up like this:
Steinbrenner invested in the team
Wilpon invested in Madoff

-Wilpons friends with Selig
-Former Dodgers owner Frank McCourt NOT friends with Selig.
I really had hope for Callaway after thinking Terry was a joke. Callaway is about the same.
I was hopeful he could fix the pitching staff. He couldn't fix Harvey and other than deGrom and Syndergaard, the staff is total garbage, with several pitchers worse than last year.
Today we watch Flores batting third against a rigthy and Reyes playing SS. Good freakin grief. It's like the twilight zone.

Mets are fading fast, so it's getting close to the time to see if the Mets cut ties with Sandy and when will the Yankees set up their rotation for the Wild Card Game.:joy:

Another win for the Yanks and another tank for the Mets. Yanks continue to be the best team in baseball, just keep rolling!

Mets fans should really focus on trying to stay ahead of the Marlins and out of last place.
Who has a better winning percentage? Yes, Bosox have 4 games in hand, but the Yankees need to win 3 out of those 4 to be equal, hence,2nd best at the moment,don't jump the gun,lol.
The Mets are done. The Nationals are red-hot despite half their team being on the DL and the Phillies/Braves continue to surprise, although I think Atlanta will fade soon due to pitching. But there's no way the Mets win this division or get a wild card. Which is why adding an old player like Jose Bautista last week was so stupid. I think their GM is delusional.
What a pathetic loss today. Chris Ash could have managed the Mets to victory in the 9th.
