When you hit the reply button, look at the top of the page where you type your post. All those icons work for different things you want to post. If you want to post a link,left click so the link turns blue,then right click and left click on the paperclip icon.Right click in the space that shows up and have put the link in your post. To post a picture,right click in picture, look for "view image info", then scroll down to you see a blue highlight line. Right click that and look on top of where your reply post is and the icon to the right of the smiley face is the image bar.Right click in that and your picture is posted.

Yes, they have to be links from URLs

You would have to upload them to any site that can host an image and give you a URL for it. For example, you could put a picture up on Facebook if you needed to, and then link it (of course that may give away some personal information). But there are a number of other picture hosting sites that you could upload to first.

As an aside, does anyone have issues posting pics from Chrome? I've tried a few times to copy a photo URL using Chrome and it doesn't post, but when I do the exact same thing in IE, it works fine.

I have no issues using Chrome to post pictures.
