Farquharson of @Rutgers_WomenTF wins the 200-meter dash crown (23.50)

The Rutgers women finished 12th out of 13 schools with 24 points. Gabrielle was responsible for all the points with a win in the 200 meters, a second in the long jump ( just missed winning) and a third in the 60 meters.

The Rutgers men finiished 12th out of 12 with only 2 points, gaining 8th place in the LJ and 8th in the 4x400 relay.

Despite Gabrielle's top performance, the rest of the Rutgers results for both men and women were underwhelming.
Rutgers had 51 entries in the 36 events contested. 35 of those finished in the bottom quartile of results in their events.
Only 5 finished in the top half of results for any events- 3 by Gabrielle.
Rutgers athletes finished last or tied for last in 12 of the 36 events.

Congrats to your athlete.

Being the best at anything is difficult.

One of the things you will like about the BIG 10 is the conference tourneys and the opportunity to see athletes do well in a conference setting prior to the NCAA championships.

Good call DEEK, way to turn a good thread into an "agenda"
Congrats RU, we will get tons more in time. Apparently some here think championships just COME with conference admission. DUMASS

Congrats to the young lady on her accomplishment. Great job. But having said that, I know that when I started the topic months ago it was referring to a team title. Maybe there might have been a thread by someone else that also included individual winners.
