OT: Sewercuse and Minny In the pinstripe bowl

If their RB is healthy they may have a chance

Sewercuse’s RB is really good too
Statistically Minny has the better Rushing Offense, Passing Defense, and slightly better Rushing Defense

Cuse has the better Passing Offense.

Purdue beat Minn 20-10. Minn star RB Ibrahim didn't play.

Cuse beat Purdue 32-29 on a last minute TD pass.

Based on the patchwork-quilt turf they throw down on the infield for these bowl games, if I’m Ibrahim I’m opting out. I hate it when players opt out, but I hate the field that much more.

Hard Pass.
F that joke of a Bowl. South Bronx , late December, Baseball Stadium, Horrible view of the Field, bad field for the players, and Extortion concessions and Parking costs. Won’t miss it ever.
The only thing I am envious of is not having a good enough record to make a bowl

But this bowl sucks in a big way for all the reasons you mention

Gator Bowl payout last year 3.1 million, Pinstripe Bowl payout 4.4 million. Didn’t hear anyone complain about the Gator Bowl sucking last year. With that being said, when the 12 team playoff begin all the bowls outside of the playoffs will suck.

Um...yea...so...this cartoon wouldn't go over well today. My sentiment is there though. Rooting for Minnesota.

It is not the payout that is the problem
The pinstripe is a lousy venue for a game and the worst that I have been to, going to most bowls

LOL - the same posters, year-after-year, bitching about a game they claimed would NEVER make it past a year. Then 2 years. Then 3 years. The only "joke" is on those posters.

(** obviously I'd rather go to a warm-weather site, in a football stadium, duh!)

If A&M hadn't backed out the Gator payout would have been around $5.3 million. It was greatly reduced when they needed RU to play the game

What don’t you understand?
The joke is this Bowl continues to under draw fans vs. other Bowls. NO INTEREST.
If not for “local” teams playing: Syracuse, Rutgers, Penn State, or ND this Bowl would be a total flop.

It has NOT "under drawn" fans. That's a fallacy made up here by you and a few others. It typically outdraws an entire handful of games and, some years, even more. You're just soooo obsessed with HATING this game I think you really don't pay much attention to a bunch of games played prior to this one.

I would love to see us play again even in Pinstripe..Couple more weeks of practice ...If you hate the seats, parking, concessions just stay home and enjoy a RU Football game on your big screen or at your local gin mill...If we play well and Win it would be a boost...If we lose it will also probably help unless its a blow out

I think I've paid like $20 all three times I've gone. Traffic no issue. Great City vibe. Not the best seating but who cares? Football used to be played in baseball stadiums all the time.
Better options? Yeah sure. Worst? Ha. Only for somehow spoiled Rutgers fans.
Great city vibe in the Bronx next to the Major Deegan Expressway and the Projects?

If you’ve never been to a warm weather bowl game then it’s better than nothing.

Hanging out in the bars under the tracks is always fun. You make what you make of things.
You make it sound like Yankee stadium never draws fans or isn't a fun place to go. 3 million people per year would disagree.

How many of the 2 million attend games at YS during the Winter?

Edit. It was 3.1 mm and you're moving the goal posts. Now it's not the city but the weather.

Btw I've been to Texas, Toronto, Detroit, Birmingham, Tampa, Bronx (3 times)

I would never go in person, but I know the players ending their careers (no NFL) would love to play
