Heh-heh... yes that's definitely the flip side to the day. My RU roommates and I used to enjoy this Harry Nilsson song because it sounded like any other 1970s soft rock song, until the words came along. Definitely un-PC.

Great song that was background music for a great scene in the movie Roadhouse--a top 5 American film.
FIFY. Love Roadhouse for it's badness.
All star cast of Patrick Swayze, Sam Elliot, Ben Gazarra, Kevin Tighe (of Emergency! fame), and some lesser known actors- pro wrestler Terry Funk and John Doe from the band X. Why it did not win multiple awards, I will never know.

Yep.
Could never get into Dirty Dancing or Ghost. The two definitive Swayze movies are Roadhouse and Point Break, the #2 greatest worst movie of all time. Another star cast of characters. Great theme of good vs. evil in both movies.
Its so not like any other song you hear today... though its getting older now. No "hook", no chorus.. just a building and building to a crescendo. I think its awesome.
This was written in response to the Captain and Tennille's Love Will Keep Us Together.
