11/2/2016 - No. 25 Rutgers women's soccer will battle No. 17 Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament Semifinals on Friday, Nov. 4 at 5:30 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network in St. Paul, Minnesota.

I don't know a whole lot about the individual players on the team, but Madison Tiernen seems like a real force out there. stronger than the opposition and kicks very powerful shots.

fyi - they've only scored 5 goals in their last 9 games. We completely dominated play in the 1st half just seem to be a little "back on our heels" so far this half.

Great game! Great win! Lesson to be learned: if up 1-0 in tourney play, at the half, be READY for the 2nd half. Can't do that on Sunday against Minny!

Very nice win but hold on or hang on seems an appropriate way to describe it given the play in the second half. Our goalie made good decisions but a lot of quality opportunities that NW just missed in the second half. Sunday should be fun.

64 but we were in once we beat Penn State. RPI is 25th. No-doubter.

That was frightening. I can't take being beaten like a lab rat anymore. And we pulled off the W, so all is good!

I caught the last 20 minutes and they went into a shell and held on for dear life.
They should have never let NW get that dangerous chance with 3 seconds left-they let down their guard.

But, great that they won, hopefully they can defy the odds and pull off the upset.
