Breaking now via twitter. Ughhh, RIP kids.

Edit: it was MSU'S former punter from 2011-2014. Mike Sadler. Nebraska's current punter, Sam Fultz was the reigning B1G punter of the year. They were returning home from a punting Camp.

Stunning news came out of Lincoln early on Sunday morning.

Punter Sam Foltz, the reigning B1G Punter of the Year, and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler were killed in an out-of-state car crash.

Sadler’s presence in the accident was later confirmed. Foltz and Sadler were attending a punters camp over the weekend. The incident reportedly occurred in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Foltz was a first-team All-B1g punter was entering his senior season in Lincoln and was on the Ray Guy Award Watch List, given to the nation’s best punter. Besides being a star on the field, Foltz was one of the most beloved Huskers for his service to the community.

Foltz earned the Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award in 2016 and was selected to the Brook Berringer and Tom Osborne Citizenship Teams. The Grand Island Senior High School product was also a four-time honor roll recipient.

Sadler was a four-year starter at Michigan State from 2011-14, where he became the first four-time Academic All-American in school history. Sadler was a B1G Medal of Honor recipient for his academic achievements.

Sad. Things like this put a lot of issues in perspective. These are young men with their lives ahead of them and it is a shame to hear this kind of thing, anywhere for any reason. Parents should not be burying their children. Prayers and condolences to their families.

Sad, my son just did a local kicking camp Friday with Cintron (RU) and Pritchard (MD) so this hits too close to home.

A tragedy. My heart goes out to our Conference's brothers, sisters, family and friends.

Nice to see we remember both. Tough times for Sparty and Big Red.

What really sucks is that these two kids were giving back to their sport when this tragedy struck. They were instructors at the kicking camp from which they were returning.

MSU's MIke Sadler was apparently a brainiac. He was accepted into Stanford's Law School and was to begin classes this Fall.

Here is a Mike Sadler tribute video released by MSU:

Mike Sadler was apparently a funny mofo too. Supposedly Sadler and Connor Cook were notorious for being clowns whenever they got together.

Here is the infamous and funny 'queer' photo of Connor Cook and Mike Sadler being goofballs.
