OT: Villanova reaction after being upset in NCAA tourney

Yep. And we have no reason to dislike Nova anyway. We haven't been in their class for decades, and their fans were fine when they visited about five years ago.
And Nova fans were probably the 2nd douchiest in the BE, right behind Cuse fans - hated when we played Nova, except that time when Mitchell hit a 4-point play to beat them...
Mom and Dad have the money to send her there, and Dad has the connections to set her up with good interviews when she graduates. I know a few female Nova grads (and one student) and they come from great families, their families are loaded, and they are really smart, hardworking, good girls.
At least she was at the game, and was there at the end. We have a long way to go before that happens regularly at the RAC.
Have you seen our band at basketball games? It's basically the pep band, and are there out of mercy IMO.
I think that picture really represents how sad our program is, but maybe more so our fans. Our March is reduced to finding pictures on the internet of fans of losing teams and laughing at them. Enjoy your search there will be more the nest two weeks.
I am sure we could go back and find some FSU fans crying after the national championship too if things get slow.

Haven't watched 5 min of this tourney. Looking forward to its end cause that means the start of the MLB season is right around the corner.

I've watched a few games and sadly it reminds me of the talent gap between RU and winning programs. There are so many awesome athletes playing for other schools. RU is not even close and hasn't been for decades now.

OMG!!! Dude, go find a real cause to champion. It's a freakin' basketball game and one person's reaction to it. As far as I know, no animals (or people) were harmed in the posting of and laughing at this photo. If it makes you feel any better, I'm sure this young lady will go on to lead a very successful and productive life, buoyed by her Villanova degree and any opportunities she may be savvy enough to parlay from the attention this brings her. smh...
There are some people that have absolutely zero right to talk. They never went to a Rutgers Villanova game. They have zero posts on the basketball board. If you had any experience with Villanova and their fans then you wouldn't take this high and mighty bullsh!t stance. If you take that stance here then you should be on every single PSU post on this board ripping RU fans because we lost to them. And by the way Nova fans are just like PSU fans.
I am happy today. Since RU is never in the tourney, I look forward to the tourney mainly for 2 games. The best game of the tourney is always the one that Duke loses. My second favorite game is almost always the one that Villanova loses - except when they happen to play Duke.
This guarantees that I always appreciate one game in the tourney and usually 2. The rest I don't care about, although I do enjoy seeing the non-powers win at any time.
When I see the clip I feel bad for the young lady. Then I grow envious, since she at least had the opportunity to feel the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat. We RU fans have neither.

Yes. I stand corrected. I thought Tim and for some reason Wright popped in me head. Gave me a good belly laugh this morning. At least we don't have to feel like crap the next day after a loss in the tournament. It's a perpetual crapper with RU basketball.

No question about it, because some have had bad experiences with Nova fans, you are totally entitled to post a picture of a young woman in the Nova band upset after her team lost and laugh at her. I mean, that's hilarious, right? I'm sure you and everyone else who posts regualrly on the basketball board who thinks its ok to mock this young lady knows without a shadow of a doubt that she embodies all of the negative attributes that your limited dealings with Nova fans in the past exhbited. Just reading this thread, it seems everyone knows her and what her parents earn, how much debt she's going to graduate with, all of it.
OR maybe you know nothing about this particular person, and have no right to mock a kid who is in the band and upset that her school lost. Maybe its highly inappropriate to use this poor kid as the embodiment of your frustration with Villanova. I mean, you probably have tons of posts on the bball board, so you have to be an expert, right?
Not true. When there was talk about the rest of the Big East funding their transition to playing football in conference there were all kinds of blowhards from their board on here and their own saying that they would pass us within the first couple of years in football. Since now that outcome is impossible and their only claim to high level collegiate revenue sport activity is BB then I say laugh at them all we want. The part that ticks me off though is that in my bracket pool I always have them losing early and that is typically a good strategy. This year I had them going to the Elite Eight against my better judgement and my usual inclination turned out to be correct and now I fell to second place.
Can we also stop pretending that she went through some life altering tragedy, mmm k?

In the context of a thread that highlighted this girl as the poster child of Nova fans and mocked her, you criticized those who we're taking the high moral ground. If you want to back peddle away from that, go right ahead. And this has nothing to do with P SU.
I've been to plenty of Nova games without issue, and while rooting foran opposing team. Maybe you bringiton yourself in much the same way you did here.

One thing I find funny is people laughing that that she is to emotionally involved. Some of these people have thousands of posts on this site and flip everytime Rutgers loses or Nova threw and interception....and she is to emotionally involved lol.
