What if the kid is 12?
Again, akin to the McDonalds example. They can either advertise and put it into peoples minds, or they can hope those people google it and McDonalds comes up first.I'm pretty sure pre-school kids know how to "google" so I sure hope a 12-year old can find out all he needs to know by doing as much. Wouldn't you agree?
Every couple years the NYT has a similar article on what has become the "hot" school of the moment. It seems right after the article comes out, NJ kids flock to the school mentioned in it.
@NotInRHouse and I have discussed this in the past. I can recall when Indiana became the flavor of the month a few years back.
And why is that?Sorry, I for one would never want to see any promotional material/advertising which made "the State University of New Jersey" have any priority over/supersede "Rutgers." Frankly, I would be very happy to lose "the State University of New Jersey" altogether.
From where I sit, as a group I thought the Indiana people were the best of all the B1G fans that have visited so far.My HS friend from IU is joining me at the game Saturday. He's one of the good ones lol.
It reminded me of the St Johns chant "We Are St Johns".Man, people have missed the point of this thread by a mile. Am I not explaining this right?
I remember "The university is...St. Johns" more than that one.It reminded me of the St Johns chant "We Are St Johns".
"This is the State University of New Jersey. This is Rutgers."
Probably more impactful when heard then read.
