Pretty unimpressed with JWT to date. Don’t discern much difference than Hubble. That may change with time

The difference between Hubble and JW when comparing similar images is staggering…not to mention Hubble had to stare at the soda straw hole for days while JW spent hours…

Even with a regular camera you have to use a filter to make things look like Christmas stars

This isn't exactly true. The "pointy stars" are due in large part to the design of the primary and secondary mirrors.
