Baloney. People were cheering when Rettig went in because we have wanted to see what he can do all season. People booed the return of Laviano because the staff won't give Rettig a chance. Period.

Do you honestly think people were booing Laviano coming back from an injury? Give me a break
no it was the decision, to bring him in AND THEN RUNDo you really believe the booing was because people were worried about laviano's health? Give me a break
Yes they were just like they cheered when Rettig went in.
Make any excuse you want in your dream world but the end result is the same. Laviano went back in and the idiots boo'd.
The boos came while he was running on to the field so your point doesn't make senseno it was the decision, to bring him in AND THEN RUN
Yes, but not because Laviano was injured, which is what you think in your "dream world." They were booing because they wanted Rettig to stay in for more than one hand-off. Was the booing poorly timed and easily misinterpretted? Yes, but don't think for a second that anyone who actually cares about this team was happy that Laviano was hurt
I don't often agree with you Tango (I'm quite certain you'd look at me as a bad fan) but on this issue we agree.Classless fans horrible
Carlin Lucas Lagrande all said it
Embarrassing
if the boos came when Lav came in then I concede the point but the decision to bring him back and run was horrendous and HCKF deserved boosThe boos came while he was running on to the field so your point doesn't make sense

How do we know who the fans were booing? More importantly, how would Laviano know who they were booing? And even if they were booing the coach, it was clear they were booing because they didn't want Laviano in the game - which is pretty much the same thing as booing Laviano.Well, we do know they're booing the coaches, but I agree -- that was not the time or place for the boos.
Laviano responded to the booing by giving the fans doing the booing a great big F you. Which was great because the people booing suck.he was trolling the fans though?
Sorry, but the morons that booed the kid (or that booed Flood for putting the kid in) are to blame for booing. Not Flood. Flood is to blame for all sorts of stuff and has to go. But it would be nice to get rid of the classless fans along with Flood.Shouldn't boo the kid but flood created this mess
Yeah, I'm sure Laviano and the rest of the team were parsing the context of the booing that took place just as Laviano was retaking the field. o_OI don't think people were booing Laviano as much as they were booing Rettig only getting in there to hand the ball off for one play. People are upset with Flood, not Laviano
Laviano is one tough kid.
Do you honestly not understand that it doesn't matter if they were booing Laviano or booing Flood for putting Laviano back in? Give us a break.Do you honestly think people were booing Laviano coming back from an injury? Give me a break
Clueless post. This is our program in a nutshell. Can't blame the fans for booing. Let's be honest, Laviano has been atrocious as a QB. He should not have gone back in after getting rocked like that. Obviously, he was still hurt and couldn't throw the ball. Stay on the bench. Your just hurting the team.
How did it sound from the scoreboard?Yeah, I'm sure Laviano and the rest of the team were parsing the context of the booing that took place just as Laviano was retaking the field. o_O
He did handle it, quite well. By giving the fans the big F you and encouraging them to boo louder. Our fans should be able to resist behaving like spoiled two year-olds who aren't getting their way.This.
You guys are ridiculou. Clearly booing flood for refusing to give rettig a chance. And I'm sorry but laviano is not 11 years old. He should be able to handle it.
Everyone was booing Flood but Laviano is so cocky he thought it was toward him. Guy hadn't thrown a TD in 6 weeks before today and he's cocky...amazingWow. We have some bad fans. Really bad.
Booing the kid after he returns from injury.
Which is that some people can't outgrow the urge to behave like two-year-olds when they don't get what they want.Where did I say people were happy he was hurt. Don't project.
18-30, 305 yards and 4 TD's. Yup, you should want to se another QB is a 1 score game.
Excuses, excuses, excuses. None of which is the real truth about the booing
All that is absolutely correct.Laviano gets absolutely blasted and doesn't know where he is. He gets walked off the field. Rettig comes in and hands off to James for a 8 yd run. Laviano signals to Flood he's fine and he goes back in to hand off the ball on a 3rd and 1 the PLAY AFTER being walked off. MD defense saw Laviano thriving in pain on the ground previous play. No chance of a pass or playaction and MD over plays the run which they stop for a 3 yd loss. Flood is a fing moron anyone that supports him needs to get their head checked.
Get this guy away from our program fast.
GO RU

I was just finishing up going 3-0 up there, so I was too busy to notice at the time and had to watch the replay to find out what happened. :DHow did it sound from the scoreboard?

What a ridiculous post. His response was awesome. I wish he'd given the booing children, uh, I mean fans, the finger as well. I mean why not, since the fans were operating at the two-year-old level already.Everyone was booing Flood but Laviano is so cocky he thought it was toward him.
