Baloney. People were cheering when Rettig went in because we have wanted to see what he can do all season. People booed the return of Laviano because the staff won't give Rettig a chance. Period.

Yes, but not because Laviano was injured, which is what you think in your "dream world." They were booing because they wanted Rettig to stay in for more than one hand-off. Was the booing poorly timed and easily misinterpretted? Yes, but don't think for a second that anyone who actually cares about this team was happy that Laviano was hurt

Laviano gets absolutely blasted and doesn't know where he is. He gets walked off the field. Rettig comes in and hands off to James for a 8 yd run. Laviano signals to Flood he's fine and he goes back in to hand off the ball on a 3rd and 1 the PLAY AFTER being walked off. MD defense saw Laviano thriving in pain on the ground previous play. No chance of a pass or playaction and MD over plays the run which they stop for a 3 yd loss. Flood is a fing moron anyone that supports him needs to get their head checked.

if the boos came when Lav came in then I concede the point but the decision to bring him back and run was horrendous and HCKF deserved boos

njbfr I agree with you. I was pissed that Rettig was taking out and not Laviano coming back from an injury. That don't even make sense.
How do we know who the fans were booing? More importantly, how would Laviano know who they were booing? And even if they were booing the coach, it was clear they were booing because they didn't want Laviano in the game - which is pretty much the same thing as booing Laviano.
Laviano responded to the booing by giving the fans doing the booing a great big F you. Which was great because the people booing suck.

Sorry, but the morons that booed the kid (or that booed Flood for putting the kid in) are to blame for booing. Not Flood. Flood is to blame for all sorts of stuff and has to go. But it would be nice to get rid of the classless fans along with Flood.

I'm on the fence and I'll tell you why. I think that fans really hate Flood and honestly Laviano has taken advantage of Floods FU attitude towards fans. I also believe that Laviano rushed back in there to make sure Rettig doesn't do anything special.
I was just finishing up going 3-0 up there, so I was too busy to notice at the time and had to watch the replay to find out what happened. :D
What a ridiculous post. His response was awesome. I wish he'd given the booing children, uh, I mean fans, the finger as well. I mean why not, since the fans were operating at the two-year-old level already.
