There's no limit on how early you can practice? Seems unfair to get such an early jump.Does every team get to start early, and are there restrictions on how many practices you can have like football does?

In Australia, probably under very little NCAA scrutiny when it comes to practice time lengths and number of practices.

I believe the rule is still that any team can travel abroad to play once every 4 years

Many years we have thought we were going to go to Europe yet it must be about 10 years since we traveled to Spain.

You get to start practicing early if you're playing in one of these summer events overseas. There are limits to how many hours per week. I think it is 20 hours.
