Peter Kiss Video

This is an impression from the reports on how hard working Kiss is - and maybe even more - the sense of how Pikiell is building & developing this team -
just a hunch - but - sense that even though 2017-2018 will be a sit-out year for Kiss ... he may ultimately reflect back on it and say it was the most grueling, hardest working, greatest learning year he experienced in his entire college career. Pikiell seems to utilize every resource available & guess that he will constantly find ways to utilize & develop Kiss over the coming year - in order to improve the team and to refine him as a player.

Kiss and Mamadou for 2018 and more coming....plus Baker and Kiss as big guards 6'4-6'5..you can see Pike's team coming together and exciting times for RU
I'm reasonably optimistic too but in 18-19 Williams and Freeman will be gone for sure and Corey likely won't be here either. Good chance the team takes a step back unless you know something I don't.

I think Baker can match Williams production by his sophmore year. Also, Johnson and Doucoure will be able to contribute a lot on the frontcourt. Bring is someone like Mathis and McClung, and you have a lineup of Mcclung/Baker, Baker/Kiss, Thiam, Doucoure, and Johnson. The bench will be able to help. i don't see the fall off being drastic.

I totally agree! Plus, I think we add a few gems along the way!

Baker, Kiss, and Mathis would make a gritty three guard lineup with a great combination of scoring, driving, and rebounding. Add in Thiam if they have a matchup/situation.

Doucoure his first year will average probably 4 and 6/7. Freemans really turned into a leader on this team, and the program will miss him a lot. Obviously Williams as well. But still 2017 to watch!

Still a ....... RAC2PAC

It's either Jim or Gem? My teacher used to always say; you can keep this one; he's a real Gem, so I guess the name kind of stuck.

We will sign better players with Pikiell. I know it's hard to believe but in the future we won't be depending on one guy like Corey. That's when the program is built. It's been a long time coming for Rutgers but I believe it's finally happening.

The way this staff is adding talent I really don't see a step back. It sounds like the obvious thing to say that we will but the players we are bringing in are better than the players already here for the most part and the future of recruiting looks even brighter. Already 4 star Doucoure. Very good shot at 4 star Mathis. In the mix with a bunch of top 150 players and it will only make it easier and easier for Pike to sell the next recruit after each new commit. Players like Doucoure and Mathis are more talented than Williams and Freeman not less and the entire roster from top to bottom is getting better and better

I agree. I think the staff builds their roster more strategically than years past. Both Williams and Freeman bring a great skill set. Freeman seems like a hell of a kid. Resilient as all hell as well. I am so happy to see him do well. He's been through the life ringer, and still pushing!

Much like the story of all players on the roster. So easy to root for.
