Bummer. Thought he was integrating well at RU. LB is thin already so this does not help.

Edit to add: if it is due to a family hardship, that's obviously a different story, and would be unfortunate for someone who seemed on track to contribute.

I think he will be a good player but I'm not sure that he fits into the ash scheme on defense. I thought that back in January and was kind of surprised that he still chose Rutgers .

I made a comment a month or two ago that whenever anyone starts a football thread, they need to start the title with OT.
He simply didn't fit what this staff wants at LB and wasn't going to be part of the plan. Kids need to do what's best for themselves as well
Pollock has been "on again off again" for a good couple of months. I don't know that there's any one single reason, which is typically the sort of thing that gets written off to "not a good fit". He's a good kid and I wish him the best.
Seeing as how he's from Orlando I'm thinking that wasn't really the issue. Orlando can be brutal.
If he loves the school, the coach and his teammates, as his dad said, that suggests he is either too far from home or just wants to get early playing time. He did enroll early, so I'm going with playing time.
Loves everything about Rutgers, but is leaving? C'mon kid, give us the full story. Honesty is the best policy.
Yeah, It seems pretty obvious, but it's not something some reporter writes in a story, nor any coach will say on the record. Every once in a while, one of the reporters will say it in a mailbag answer, but just as an opinion.

At 5'10'' 214 was a bit undersized and we can use the scholly but i thank him for wanting to play here....someone asked him politely??? JMO?
Based what I've read so far regarding the reasons Pollack is transferring, I am going to need to buy a secret decoder ring to decipher some of these comments.
No decoder ring needed. He wasn't a priority for the new staff and they don't see him fitting what they want at LB. best to transfer now than after watching for a few years.
Measurements....all about the measurements. Ash honored all commits but that doesn't mean you have a shot to compete.
