Dave Revsine asked the 3 analysts what their favorite moments were from the B1G 10 Tourney and both Stephen Bardo and Shon Morris both said it was Rutgers; its run; its future; our great HC Steve Pikiell and our great fan support. Amazing!

Also Robbie Hummel said that for all the skeptics who did not want MSG - shame on them - as these 5 days were great - and that he hopes the B1G 10 Tourney is back here 5 years from now. I wonder by him saying that - and obviously BTN knows what is happening - whether talks / conversations have occurred or will / may occur to explore future opportunities at the World's Greatest Arena for the B1G 10 Tourney.

Awesome awesome stuff .This run was huge for our program. Pike really is the real deal. We could have beaten Purdue too but they were just the better team when it mattered. What fun the whole thing was .can't wait for next year .

Nothing will happen for at least 4 years based on commitments to Chicago and Indianapolis .Per Delaney discussions will occur next year for future years and they would include Detroit and Minneapolis because of Midwest tradition.Scheduling MSG will be difficult because the Big East has the rights for the facility the week before the NCAA Tournament starts.

It will be back....the BE ends in 2025...at that point it could be open for bidding and I'm sure the ACC will want MSG as well.

Crazy as it sounds, MSG 2 next door would make a billion dollars over time if you can have a duplicate building in same location...maybe not 19K seats but Vegas has the venues for Mountain West, WCC and Pac 12 all within a week...the MGM arena takes the Pac12, UNLV hosts the Mountain West and Orleans or the smaller venue handle the WCC...

I spoke with Revsine for a while yesterday. We chatted about numerous things, including his recent bout with Bell's palsy, which prevented him from being on the air for a few weeks. A good friend of mine was also afflicted with the disorder that causes temporary facial paralysis.

He pointed at my Rutgers sweatshirt and said, "You have to be pleased with the tournament?" He thought it was such a fun run, with Pikiell's club providing highly entertaining basketball.

I complimented him on his book, "The Opening Kickoff: The Tumultuous Birth of a Football Nation." He said he enjoyed researching it and discovering the pivotal role Rutgers played in inventing the game. He also noted we can expect the B1G to heavily publicize the 150th anniversary of college football in 2019.

Not one and done, not two and thru, but almost three and let's see.
Sure came close and produced excitement we haven't seen in quite some time. Playing 3 days straight kept everything fresh and lively.

Robbie Hummel on tonight's show said definitively that the B1G 10 Tourney will be back in NYC and didn't mind pissing off the Midwestern fans.

did you see the beautiful women he was sitting next to court side? he probably wants it back next week :)

(for all I know it was his wife but sure looked like quite the date )

One key to this will be how well the Big 10 does in the opening round.

Not playing for 10-12 days has to have the coaches concerned.

Not so much if you're playing a 15 or 16 seed but beyond that most all teams are capable of beating you.
