After voting Feb. 7 to investigate a proposed merger of Rutgers University’s two medical schools in Newark and New Brunswick, the University Senate Executive Committee continues to review the possibilities, Rutgers Senate Chair Jon Oliver said in a statement.
The merger would create “Rutgers Medical School,” a tentative name for the merged school, according to a Jan. 31 letter Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences Chancellor Brian Strom sent to the University Senate.
