Kinda hoping PSU wins the next few before playing us - the higher ranked they are will make the game vs us that much more interesting (esp if we can pull off an upset). Still think its crazy they are ranked 12th in BCS ranking. They have 1 quality win. Given our season I would be satisfied with a win against them.

BWI???? They beat OSU (who isnt a top 5 team). What other good win do they have? They lost to Pitt!
I know Minnesota hasn't played the most difficult schedule but that looks like a good win to me at this point. Turning point of the season IMO.
Not sure what your point is about the PITT loss. Some of the other ranked teams have individual losses to UGA, Wyoming, Cal and Eastern Washington.
Don't get yourself all worked into a lather quite yet. Lots of football left to be played.
We should have beaten Minny and we arent so good this season. You lost bad to Mich, lost to Pitt. Played Temple, and Minny close. They are playing well and much improved, just dont think worthy of a 12 rank based on 1 good win. But yes, lot of football left. Like I said I hope you keep winning till you come to the banks.
I thought the same thing. Threads like these never end well for RU. Besides, most sane RU fans know we will get smoked. I'll say it before Howie 81 comes crawling out from his crypt: 24-2.
But you didn't. I'm not flaming, just stating a fact. Please keep in mind that there is no way in hell that Penn State should have beaten Miami for the 1986 National Championship...but they did.
I really couldn't care less about the rankings TBH. The OSU was fantastic but I said at the beginning of the season that Franklin should be judged on how he does in pick 'ems this season. So far he is 2-1 with three left to play. If he goes 2-1 the rest of the way while beating Purdue and Rutgers as well, then he will finish 4-2 in pick 'em games this season. That's improvement IMO and despite everyone (PSU fans) wanting us to go 10-2 now, any single one of us would have taken a 9-3 campaign at the beginning of the season.
BTW, notice how no one...and I mean no one...is talking about the bone headed TO Franklin called while on defense against OSU at the end of the game? It's because he won.
