Purdue got out toughed tonight. Cincinnati constantly took the ball right at them and Purdue missed 4 of their last 5 foul shots. They led by 7 points with I think 50 seconds left in regulation and they gave up a quick 3 and than lost the ball on the side and Cincinnati drove right to the basket to score and get fouled for the old way 3 point play. Cincinnati had scored 6 points in 6 seconds. I feel sorry for Purdue but they couldn't close it out. They just got out toughed by Cincinnati. Purdue settled for way too many 3's and I think were 4-24 on them. This was an awful loss for the BIG.

They closed games out poorly twice against rutgers..also agains penn state and then another game I saw late in the season...thats on coaching...that a bad RUTGERS did it to them 2x raised some red flags...Painter gets heavy criticism

Purdue is soft.....record was inflated....Painter's move to call a TO with 7 seconds left in regulation when Cincy had no TO's was horrible....

I hated the TO as well. Ultimately it was the foul shots. Octeus missed 2 critical free throws during regular time, 1 in the Bonus and the first shot of 2. I think it was Davis who missed both his free throws during OT. I agree that Cincy drove right at them in the paint and they played soft. I was very disappointed that Purdue lost. I ddin't think Hammons played well on the defensive end.
