other than the fact that there's a lot of games between Spring and Fall I think it's well thought out. More details are in the replies to the tweet.

Unfortunately you need to get the Big 12, ACC and SEC to change there minds and cancel this fall season. If they don't it doesn't work at all.

Seems interesting that Purdue has a plan of its own.

I would call this more of a "proposal" than a plan

There will be a season, CFP, and national champion crowded well before a "spring season" would even begin. So what's the point?

Here's the point:

1) Cash

2) If the Pac 12 joins the BiG in the winter/spring then you can do a 6 team playoff between the two conferences. The winner could be the disputed champion. There are 6 teams in the BiG in the preseason Top 25. You can't really consider a national championship without BiG participation. Ohio State is #2 in the nation. PSU is #7. Oregon in the Pac12 is #8 in the nation. Whomever in the SEC or ACC that wins in the fall season will be illegitimate.

3) People will watch college football in the winter and the spring (see Point #1)
