Purdue the class of the B1G?

Swanigan is a beast and their big center is pretty decent. They could be a Final Four team.

Time will tell. I'd take Wisconsin over Purdue, but this conference is going to have alot of parity this year!

Last year Purdue might have set a record for rebounds against Rutgers.They use brute force inside complemented by 3 point shooters outside which is a tough combination to beat.

I watched them play twice this year as I have watched Indiana and Wisconsin play multiple times. I think Wisconsin is the best team right now only because they're the most versatile. With Purdue it's Swanigan and a group of good players, while Wisconsin has Hayes, Koenig, Hill and Thomas who are all capable of putting up double digit points in a game. Plus, I think Hayes is the best player in the B1G.

The bottom of the conference is much improved this year, but the top is not as dominant. Purdue is very good, but so is Wisconsin. Indiana is so inconsistent, but they probably will be right there in contention by the end of the year. I would also not discount Michigan State if they get their roster healthy.

Purdue definitely could be players in April. Like someone said, don't write Indiana off just yet. They have the talent to win in spite of Crean.
