When the GoFundMe campaign started, I made a token $5 donation to that fund, mostly as a statement that I was in favor of change. Barchi and the University ultimately is favoring us with needed change. Tonight I made a $500.00 donation to RU Football. Not a fortune. And no, it won't move the needle where it needs to be all by itself, but I felt as though I needed to do my part.
For those that were extremely or even partially supportive of the idea of giving back to RU, if only RU would move in a new and different direction.....now is the time to follow through on some of our personal pledges. I encourage those that are able to give to Rutgers Athletics. Show your support for decision making we can get behind. I am very encouraged by the last few days and have a lot of hope for the future.
