Question about our Defense in the Nebraska game?

For anyone who rewatches games and understands things a lot more than I do; why was Nebraska able to run the ball so easily when we knew the run was coming? Most of the runs were for 4-6 yards at minimum on first down and many times a lot more? Are they much stronger than we are? Are we getting boxed out on blocks so easily? And what’s it going to take to get to a quarterback when he does drop back?

But we got gashed in the run in the 2nd half because our defense was exhausted. First half we played it fairly well.
