I read the article about a 22 story apartment building going up in New Brunswick.-- Assuming that at some point we bring back Division 1 mens basketball to The RAC and we are able to get people interested in the program again, would it be a good idea to offer some type of low cost bus service from say,the State Theatre or Kilmer Square, to The RAC ? Since parking is now up around $10, would the growing number of residents of downtown New Brunswick(including some who are Rutgers alumni or staff) start to use a service like this ?

Why couldn't it be free? RU buses are free to use by anyone 365 days a year and there is already free shuttle buses for the football games, leaving from the train station. Right now I don't think they there's much demand...

If I recall correctly' there was a shuttle service from ferren for football games and it was sparsely used.

Not to open up an ot shitstorm again, but it's a shame that the light rail system never got built.

The shuttle still runs and the last time I used it, it filled uphttp://www.scarletknights.com/facilities/parking/parking.asp

As I mentioned on the Basketball Board a "BB" express bus on game nights with a prescribed route (and promoted correctly) might not be a bad idea.
