Rutgers made a national splash Friday when Kentucky four-star quarterback Gavin Wimsatt announced he'd spend his next four-to-five years in Piscataway as the leader of Rutgers' offense.

Nice to see the enthusiasm among the recruits, both commits and targets not yet committed. To use the film title in another current thread on this board, they are already sounding like a "band of brothers," buying into the whole "family" concept that GS fosters.

Going to be interesting to see how GS manages the limited remaining spots given the quality of interested recruits. Adding the stud QB makes RU even more attractive. Program changing class in the making. I love the OL commitments, underrated.
