How about this? Rettig had a chance to win the job in the spring and couldn't get it done. He had another chance in the fall and couldn't get it done. LSU let him go. Maybe, just maybe, the kid is more like Natale than anyone thinks.

If you're referring to being inserted in garbage time when the team is down by 30-40 and mostly checked out, opposing team has brought in its backups, and mostly hand off the ball, then you're not worth discussing this with.
