It's like the Fed. Just print 20,000 standing room only tickets, and give them away in the weekly coupon circular. Boom! 77,000 fans against Indiana.
this is embarrassing for Rutgers, to have this game as the 2nd largest crowd in history by counting 20K givewaways, 8K of which didnt show up is scraping the bottom
Agreed, embarrassing by the marketing department, athletics office. What kind of side show is Hobbs running. Entire football program/gameday etc. is small time

I thought back on gameday that BAC’s estimate felt right.
Smoke and mirrors crap by the offense and athletic dept. has gotten so old.
Back in my day Rutgers was always the step above all the other eastern programs with it's class and productions. We've seriously never transitioned organically and just kept buying the same old "college football kit" off the wannabe shelf. That's why Burns was canned. Buying off the menu vs. creating your own recipe.
Was at a funeral on Wed. night and a guy who lead our high school to a state title and play at college ball mentioned our program and the "Rutgers Marching 100" Band that was so good they got invited to the Rose Bowl Parade in 1969 .
We have the history and the ingredients to be something unique. But we wanna be just like everyone else cause nobody has the balls to do it.

There is no way that only 35K attended the tOSU game last year. The scanner numbers don’t mean anything. NJ.com simply hates us.
I've been waved in for 1 game this year and OSU last year and even for parking this year one time.
