BB Recruiting RHoops in Top Six for 2021 G/F Jaden Jones

San Diego St?
Is he from Jersey? O can't believe a North East kid would pick a flash in the pan mid major over a big conference program - no matter how nice the weather is.

He's from St. Louis but judging from his list doesn't care about staying local.

You can do worse than spending your college years in San Diego. And they make the tournament most years.

Seemed the most enthused by SD ST & RU.. But then again, it's his only 2 visits so far lol

I think we can eliminate 'Bama since he did not recall the head coach's name and didn't bother to look it up.

Sean Miller selling him on leading them to the Final Four as a Frosh... geez. Very good program.. but that's quite a reach.

Recruiting against Sean Miller and Will Wade? We may as well move on right now if we aren’t willing to match their “offer”.

A high flier who can flat out shoot the rock. Will be a diaper dandy where ever he goes.

Used to live in OC (Laguna Nigel) and visited SD often.

The selling point isn't only the team: it's SD itself.

The world may be suffering (see Australia / fires) from Global Warming...but San Diego is definitely KOOL!

couldn't pay me enough to live in San Diago... most boring weather on the planet...

Yeah, NICE every day is BORING!

You can also visit La Jolla, go to the beach, horse racing at Del Mar, great sea food at Pt. Loma and take a day trip to Mexico if you're so inclined.

Ask Fanny aka @FELONIOUSMONK: he's a walking living billboard for SD!

Been there several times. It's a nice place to visit, but no desire to live there. Far more to do in CNJ/NYC/Philly area, especially culturally, restaurant-wise, and, of course Rutgers sports and other RU stuff I do. And we get snow/seasons here.

Spent a bunch of (leisure and work related) time there..was at 2018 NCAA in Viejas, was also in town in 2016, so took Surfliner up to Anaheim for 2016 Regionals (Honda Center Across from Station)..its always cool to be on West Coast at tournament time. 9AM games onTV, and nothing super late..in fact on lark, reserved room at NYC hotel for Night of Eastern Semis. Must cancel by 11:59 EST 3/22..if Rutgers goes to Sacramento and plays SDSU in 2nd round (on 3/22) for trip to Garden, Cut off time could be very interesting..
Of course RU has lots of work to do before that speculation should begin..
May go anyway to see some good hoops
Hotel rate was cheap, but Ticket prices now are ridiculous.
Would only pay that to see Rutgers..

You probably don't know that going back to the 2004-2005 season San Diego Sate has failed to win 20 games only once. They also have two 30-win seasons during that time frame.

If that is a flash in the pan program there are programs nationwide what would love to be a flash in the pan.
