Will be interesting to see where RU eventually lands, but still very confident that McClung is a definite contributor, Harper Jr. is clearly a diamond in the rough that will compete for minutes with upside and of course, the huge Montez Mathis verbal, ultimately sends a regional message that RU will be improving very quickly and a factor on the recruiting trail.

The 4th verbal is the one who really got the ball rolling last winter in Doucoure, who will take time to develop like most bigs need to, but can still expect his game to progress over his career.....he should be able to battle defensively and rebound which is critical in this conference.

As other teams pick up more commitments, this ranking will ultimately be adjusted, but I still think RU will finish very high once all is said and done......Ron Harper Jr. will rise up the rankings as this year progresses and as we move into 2018.

And very hopeful we can get shooting PF, Warren Washington from California here for the visit and the Washington football game / weekend. Will be a great setting to host and show off the campus and everything else.

For the first time, Rivals has automated the team rankings in basketball. The formula is pretty simple. Points are assigned to each recruit depending on where they are ranked and then the totals for all of a team's commitments are totaled. The higher a recruit is ranked – the maximum value is 1,500 points for the No. 1 player in the country – the more weight his commitment holds.

Don't worry....the ranking will be very good when all is said and done...

Mack and Jack in the same class so we know first hand that one good class doesn't get you over the hump unless its a fab 5 situation. We need Pike to do what his predecessors couldn't....recruit consistently.

Basically I think it boils down to getting a 4-star talent and a few really good 3-stars in each class. If you can do that 3 or four years in a row, then you're rolling.

Did we lose a commit? Haven't been following too closely but swore we had 4, no?
