For those who follow leagues or trends, I am not quite sure how this will matter as much as the transfer portal in terms of impact. But here is the current breakdown of the Power 5/6 Leagues (including the Big East which now has 11 teams since adding UConn back to the fold.....there are still some Top 150 kids that are uncommitted as well.

B1G 29 Top 150 kids

ACC 25 Top 150 kids

Big East 21 Top 150 kids

SEC 21 Top 150 kids

Pac 12. 12 Top 150 kids

Big 12 8 Top 150 kids.

With major coaching changes at Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Iowa State, that is the likely explanation for the Big 12 being down at 8 for this 1 year cycle.

As far as the B1G goes, Michigan leads the entire country for Rivals in terms of overall ranking for this class.....The Wolverines lead with 6 commitments in the Top 150 (4 of which are in the Top 50).

Michigan 6 (6, 22, 48, 49, 102, 127)

Michigan State 3 (17, 44, 65)

Ohio State 2 (40, 148)

Indiana 2 (30, 68 )

Maryland 2 (79, 94)

Purdue 2 (38, 51 )

Northwestern 3 (119, 136, 142 )

Nebraska 2 (26, 118)

Wisconsin 4 (117, 125, 131, 138)

Illinois 3. (59, 107, 114)

Iowa, Rutgers, Penn State and Minnesota did not land a Top 150 kid in this cycle. Although RU commit, Jaden Jones would have been in this class in the Top 150 (he was in the 110 range last I saw him), he reclassified up to 2020, giving RU 2 Top 150 type kids in 2020 (Cliff Omoyuri and Jaden Jones).....kids that reclassified up in class after a ranking has been finalized, don't get recalculated into a prior class....Maryland would have had a 3rd kid in this class as a Top 150 (James Graham III), who also enrolled mid season in 2020.

What is ironic to look at first glance for 2020, I casually counted 22 of the Top 150 kids that hit the transfer portal already. So these rankings either are forecasting what players will do in the distant future OR the kids didn't have instant success or looking for a change in scenery.
