Rough Day For Flood Supporters...

This isn't really a question.

Flood will be here in 16.

One caveat to that is...Flood was almost ousted at the end of 2013. Sure the administration may back him but if Julie wants to make a change, same thing will happen. Barchi and the BOG will tell her to "go find the money yourself and you can hire your coach" and if she can't then he stays. And barring a scenario where we beat Wisconsin and/or Nebraska, Army and Maryland I see the same scenario playing out as 2013. She will try to get it done, this time keeping it completely under wraps so the buffoons in the media and us fans don't know about it. Will it get done though? Probably not, unless the people who write the checks have had enough.

Julie tried to fire Flood. But rewrite history to say the "admin" supports him

Support for Flood is limited to the following: Jeff Towers, Barchi (only because of price), and about 5% of our fans (Floodies, brightsiders, blue sky, 5%, Braindead-Americans, whatever they go by these days)

Did the Floodies know it was over when Houston and UConn took the field and were just too big and fast for us? Or was it when Hackensack took the field and his first 60 minutes in the upright position since high school?

Reading this forum after a loss (and lately, even after some wins) is like observing a kindergarten class full of horribly spoiled toddlers. What a bunch of colicy babies we have here.

Apparently, if we're not all wallowing in the sea of hatred-based misery these haters live in, and if we're not meeting their quota of repetitive negative whiny posts each day, then we simply must be the Flood-loving enemy. Brilliant! [laughing]
Glad you are so happy with such a lopsided loss

This.

This is correct. There may not be any university financial backing to make a change...it would be entirely on the athletic department to come up with the money...but that doesn't mean there won't be a desire and an attempt to make one. It comes down to one thing...on Sunday morning, November 29th, how do the people that write the checks that actually matter feel about where we are. If they are content, he will stay. If they are not, they will TRY and make a change but there's not guarantee that will be successful as we saw in 2013. If we are 7-5 then I imagine it won't even be discussed. If we are 6-6, well then that's one game worse than last year's finish and I'd imagine be seen as going backwards. How could it not be? If you want to argue he wasn't on the sidelines for 3 games, well that's true but who's fault is that? 5-7 or worse and I'd imagine there would be a strong push to go in a different direction with a likely successful outcome of getting it done.

Julie is the AD. If she tried to fire Flood and couldn't, she is really that in name only or is horrible at her job.

It's good to see some of the simpletons discuss what the real issue is. It's a start.

I could name 5-10 right of the top of my head within a minute. I won't because there is not point in calling them out. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, regardless of whether you agree with it or not. That said, there are a bunch of people out there whose support of the coach (doesn't even really matter who it is) is borderline unconditional until that coach is gone and the next guy comes aboard. And then rinse and repeat. Just the way it is with some people. .
Oh my God,if that isn't 100% on the money. I don't know what is.

Or she can't navigate the politics required to run a competitive athletic department at Rutgers University. It's okay, great men have tried before her and failed. Bob M. succeeded for a while but that ultimately resulted in his ouster. Difference is, based on her resume she is actually the most qualified of any of her predecessors to get it done but her gender, lack of popularity and the fact that she's not local or "one of us" is severely debilitating her. If she gets the opportunity to do it again I think she pulls it off.

Rockne wouldn't have coached Rutgers to a win last night.

No but at least he might've tried a trick play, a bomb, going for it on 4th and 2 or a fake field goal or SOMETHING to shake the game up and give fans something to cheer about. Instead we got the same game we saw against norfolk state or any other opponent for the last 3 dreary seasons.

Whatever the case is, it is solely her responsibility. Flood being or not being the head coach is her duty. If she can't sell it up the chain and down doing what it takes to either galvanize people in keeping him or raising funds for his ouster, then she isn't the right person for this job. It's a tough job handcuffed by the President and board, but it is still her job.

We threw a bomb...when the QB with the arm to throw it was in.

Right. I'm ecstatic about it. Because everybody knows it's impossible to be unhappy about a thing without throwing a public, hate-filled temper tantrum.

The Floodies gear up for it. They know if we are playing a winning team Flood is going to have his behind handed to him.

0-10 versus ranked team and 4-20 versus teams with winning records.

More arrests than wins over teams with winning records.

Something to hang your hat on!

Who are the 4 teams, and what were their records?

Is anybody else starting to see that Barchi is part of the problem here?
