RU Commits Secure Tix to TU/ND

I can't belive that temple fans, all 12 of them are trying to talk smack to us. We don't even play them this year.

Why is this even an issue? He losses to ND and no problem. He beats ND and their is close to 1% chance he is coaching temple next year. I doubt any of our recruits will be so amazed they will switch to Temple when the coach is gone in 2 months.

Is Ruhle going to be the RU coach next season?
Football? Doubt it. He's from the wrong sport:

I wonder what changed his mind? Is Flood clamping down on commits again with regard to flirting with other schools? I guess if Russo respects his wishes, that's a good sign for Rutgers.

Nothing changed his mind, he was never going. Whoever reported it received bad information.

I'm pretty sure Vern Ruhle is no longer living.
#1 I can't believe I just googled Vern Rhule to see if he was still living.
#2 Found this gem in his wiki entry:
Ruhle died in Houston, Texas after a yearlong battle with multiple myeloma.[2] He was married to Sue, with who he had to children, Kenny and Rebecca.[3]

I'm probably the first one to read that horribly massacred sentence since it was posted.

I remember Vern Ruhle, as we lived in Houston from 77-79, and I was an Astros fan up through the strike in 94 (when I really got away from following baseball). Terrible that he died so young: another cancer victim.

You're right, that is brutal. But they did spell "Ruhle" correctly, at least for the late pitcher.

Pretty irresponsible & lazy by Temple site to report Russo would be there if he isn't. Doesn't anyone check with the recruit to confirm these things before printing some list emailed to them from a recruiting coordinator?

That would be irresponsible. But why do you assume the information they had has always been incorrect? Seems that he was coming at one point...
