RU v St johns

Not necessarily losers.. Some of them might prefer a venue that's easier for them to get to because they'd like to attend the game.... Will you be going?
It is a 1½ hour drive from central/north jersey with a little traffic.

Tolls suck but try to Visit some family and all is good. NJTransit is not cheap either to MSG.

Why add a third Big East team?

Preseason T-Rank for possible 23-24 schedule, @ Seton Hall #54, @ Wake Forest #64, N/R? St John's #74, vs Georgetown #145(added Supreme Cook), ? vs St Peter's #290, vs Stonehill #326, and vs LIU #340.

Georgetown has an interesting starting front court now with 6'10 Akok Akok, 6'9 Supreme Cook and 6'9 Ishmail Massoud.

One or two of the other 4 games better have something for the committee to look at based off preseason rankings of the potential schedule.

Villanova got an A in Portal Kombat adding TJ Bamba(Texas), Hakim Hart(Maryland) and Tyler Burton(Richmond). They are a preseason top 25 team with their returning players.

It is St. Peter's. Rutgers will not be playing Princeton again in a long, long time,if ever.
Thanks. I don’t think of St Peters as even a little brother rival. That’s why I held out false hope for Princeton. I guess not.

Rutgers should play Seton Hall, Princeton, and St. John's every year. Love these local rivalry games. RAC, Rock, Jadwin, MSG, Carnesecca, UBS, wherever, just let's get it on versus these local rivals.

My least favorite arena is Carnesecca. Those seats give me back aches.

6 of the 11 non conference games are known, and the schedule is shaping up to be worse than last year,

Stonehill
LIU
St.Peters
Georgetown
@ Seton Hall
@ Wake Forest

You know Central CT St Is Coming back, and a bottom IVY, MEAC, AND AMERICA EAST. A possible neutral site UBS or Barclays game vs a PAC 12 will be final addition

Why would anyone? St. Peter’s has reached greater access recently than RU has in almost 50 years.

Just stop. What they did when they got hot in one tournament run 2 years ago is completely irrelevant. On average, playing them is akin to playing a Patriot league team and they certainly aren’t any more of a “rival” than Monmouth, NJIT, Rider, etc.

St Peters won 14 games last year.

Maybe when their acne clears up some of these tough guys will be fortunate enough to have a wife and young children. Hope they check back then with their feelings about taking their family on a joyous subway ride. P.S. Brooklyn blows. LI blows.

I grew up on Long Island 15 min from UBS. Trust me you don't want to be anywhere near the Cross Island Pkw or the Belt Pkwy especially around the holidays. A big fat fing no!
