One was deflected and a corner granted to RU, but went right across the goal mouth. The other went across as well, but wasn't as good a chance. Still, we're putting pressure on!
The most worrysome thing right now is that Bri Reed picked up a yellow for a cheap foul/argument with the ref. Gotta keep the mouth shut!
RU definitely had better chances during that first OT. Let's see what happens during the 2nd 10-minute OT. And yes, the OTs are sudden death.

For the record, I'm NOT a fan of PKs, win or lose.
But to be honest, it's UVA's O vs. RU's D/G. This isn't an awful position to be in.

The psychology of PKs is such an interesting thing. You either have ice in your veins, or you don't.
UVA bringing in the backup goalie for PKs. Specialist stuff, though she's started 8 and played in 11 this year.
Rutgers has a nice advantage with our goalie's size here. But be realistic, it's whether or not the O hits them right or not. Goalies have very little chance of saving a good kick.
Sorry Murph, you've gotta move quicker. These were 3-4 savable shots so far. You've got this next one!
