Doubtless, but I'm not sure a few years ago that the Star would have carried it. While I enjoy the paper and actually read it daily, it isn't exactly large as paper's go, and Women's Basketball (in general and the UofA version) was not one of the sports that got a lot of coverage.

Oddly enough, or maybe not so oddly, with the WBB WNIT title last spring, Softball making the World Series after a long hiatus, Women's Soccer excelling, and the contract extension for WVB head coach Dave Rubio, all of a sudden women's sports in general and, of course, UA specifically, are getting much improved coverage.
