Rutgers 2006 grad Lauren Sisler on Finebaum Show as I write this.
Has she been interviewed on the Big Ten Network to promote her book Shatter Proof?
Great interview.
Notable for her “sideline shimmy”.
Maybe a Big Ten Network position is in her future? The Big Ten Network is in dire need of personality.

Finebaum mentioned on today’s show (18 October 2024) that he was in classes with Ernie Grunfeld at the University of Tennessee. Wryly, he said Ernie thought he (Finebaum) was smart.
Grunfeld and Bernard King at Tennessee … shades of Dylan and Ace.

Finebaum thinks he is smart and is at the age when he has become a legend in his own mind. I also believe he may have been on campus or just off it for the infamous (for Tenn) “What’s a Rutgers”? game when RU beat Tenn on homecoming down there in the late ‘70s. I don’t care for Finebaum and don’t understand his standing in the sport. He is a complete shill for the SEC yet has credentials as a national college football expert. He doesn’t care about the sport , only the schools at the top of the sport.

He works for espin, the sec network…don’t should not be surprising he favorites teams from that conference or top teams from it. He’s had a very popular show for years…people love him and love to hate him. Great for ratings.

I don’t care about ratings or popularity. Certainly no legitimate journalist should. If you don’t have integrity, you have nothing.

Oh it's widely accepted that 2006 was the best class to ever graduate from Rutgers.

Smartest, best looking, just overall coolest class ever.

she is very well known for her speaking engagements for dealing with the below life experience.

On March 24, 2003, while a freshman at Rutgers University, Sisler unexpectedly lost both of her parents, Lesley and George Sisler, to prescription drug overdoses within hours of each other.[8] Losing her parents provided a devastating blow to Sisler and she was unsure about the future. Her aunt and uncle convinced her to return to Rutgers, where she struggled before regaining control of her life.[6] She speaks about the dangers of addiction and is involved with a few organizations.

I partially disagree. Yes, he is an SEC guy but that is his audience just like the BTN folks shill for the B1G. I find him very enteraining and knowledgeable. His callers on the other hand, are out of their minds.

The game was in '79. Just looked it up and found he graduated in '78.

Got this article in my email this morning. What a great story, can't imagine going through that
