Doomsday mindset. Relax and enjoy. Rutgers will forever be in a good spot when it comes to big time conferences unless either NYC moves or RU moves. Not sure which one will happen first. Lol.NJH,
How permanent is being in the B1G? How permanent is equal revenue distribution? How permanent are teams staying in B1G?
If B1G disbanded what type of revenue could we expect.
Certainly not doomsday.Doomsday mindset. Relax and enjoy. Rutgers will forever be in a good spot when it comes to big time conferences unless either NYC moves or RU moves. Not sure which one will happen first. Lol.
Not a numbers guy are you ?Certainly not doomsday.
change will be almost a given over the next 5 years with schools, conferences and media.
tough to adapt being a state school in a state that has tough decisions ahead with a 270 million pound weight attached.
revenue generation is an absolute must. These are 2 very important years for FB and MBB.
I am a numbers guy. Doesn’t mean I don’t do the math right.Not a numbers guy are you ?
A lot of people are not happy if 24 cents per person goes to Planned Parenthood. The Rutgers athletics annual state-supported portion of the budget is roughly $2 Million. The population of NJ is $8.8 Million. So roughly 24¢ per person. The joke is when some clueless rival fan complains to you about Rutgers sports costing them their taxpayer money, throw a quarter at them and say “keep the change”
SEton Hall did have a Medical School in Jersey City which was bankrupting them. Then Governor Hughes bailed them out by purchasing the school and calling it UMDNJ. It was situated in what was then called Hague Hospital. The facilities were antiquated and highly inadequate. The entire facility was moved to Newark starting in the late 60s to early 70s and the old hospital was transformed into graduate school building with additional office space and a new hospital built as part of the school. Today it is part of the RWJ Barnabas System and still in Newark right off Bergen Street. Joining up with RWJ saved the state millions of dollars annually .Seton Hall does not have a Medical School. It almost stupidly purchased a Medical School that it could not afford.
On March 11, 2015, the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners granted conditional approval to open a new school of medicine called the Seton Hall - Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, pending accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). On June 5, 2015, SHU and HUHN, now known as Hackensack Meridian Health,[2] signed the definitive agreement that cemented their commitment to move forward with the formation of the school. In July 2015, SHU and HMHN filed as an applicant school with the LCME, and renewed that application in December 2016. On February 15, 2018, the school received its Preliminary Accreditation from the LCME.[3][4]SEton Hall did have a Medical School in Jersey City which was bankrupting them.
