He would have needed to beat out Tony Santa Maria first. And Santa Maria had a great year with the bat and the glove last year. Then Tony SM got hurt and Cameron Love came in and played spectacularly well with the bat and on the field. Who would they sit to get Martin into the lineup?

Rutgers beats Mercer 3-2 today. Another great outing for Jake Marshall, with 5+ innings of 1-hit ball, and then Sam Bello and Ben Gorski finished up strong.

Very successful 6-1 trip to Georgia.
