I'm happy for the players. They work their butts off and even if it's not a popular sport, the kids playing it put everything into it.
 
RU is in the same boat as about everybody but Maryland, Illinous, and Indiana right now. The max number of games you can lose is at about 5 for the rest of the year including going deep into the Big 10 tourney in order to make a regional. That is the worst part of playing it a poor baseball conference. There is very little chance to have RPI gaining series even with sweeps because most of the conference is simply bad at baseball. Rule of thumb is 35 wins and appear in tourney final to get a regional. Anything less than 35 you have to win tourney and get auto bid.
 
Looking like some decent weather on tap for this weekend's clash with Ohio State. I might check out a game, probably Sunday afternoon. Is it free ?
