Just watched Indiana beat Maryland. We can both of these teams. At best Maryland will win one bout against us. Will take us into the Big Ten Championship with a lot of confidence. On to watching Michigan vs. Penn State

It's a good team goal as UMD does not have any wrestler in the coaches poll. So, we will be favored in at least eight matches. I think we can win at HWT, but not sure about 165.

With the weather prediction, it would be great to have a tri-meet with Maryland and Penn State. Could help us for Big Ten and maybe NCAA seedings. Rivera and Van Brill would benefit with victories. And a loss would keep Rivera at # 3 in the conference. So little risk. Boone would also have a chance to pull an upset at heavyweight and guys like Turley and Poz won't be expected to win. But will see what they need to do to move up. Also Kinnaird would benefit.

Sanderson has said he is trying to re-schedule the match. Hopefully Goodie has spoken to him. Let's get it done. We have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

WNG - Thanks for the potential good news. Hope we can reschedule Penn State.

As Penn State wrestles Maryland on Monday and they are looking for another match, should be easy to schedule a tri-meet. And our guys will avoid traveling to Maryland during a likely snow storm. We could use the extra competition going into the Big Ten Tournament.

I'm sure it's due to the requirements in terms of the number of people traveling, protocols, etc... this way they can send only the guys they want to get extra matches, minimum number of staff, and not necessarily have everyone would normally be required to there for an official dual. It sounds like it would just be easiest situation given the proximity, similar to an open tournament setting in that regard.
