The curse continues. Rutgers loses their next game following the clinching of any World Series game won by the Chicago Cubs. Oh, how much longer must we endure this curse?:weary:

One of those pitching stars on those earlier Cub teams must have been seen by my grandfather and my father,as they went to many games of the Newark Peppers of the Federal League in 1915 in Harrison.

Ed Reulbach pitched a doubleheader shutout for one of those Cub teams.He was buried in Montclair.
 
Now the Cleveland Indians.... those are the guys you want to see win the World Series:
